L'Chaim Shidduch Organization
Attendees of L'Chaim Shidduch Organization's meetings gain information about singles presented at the Shidduch meetings. Names and /or initials are not released at the meetings. Afterwards, attendees contact other attendees to discuss potential matches. At this point, if the Shidduch seems viable, the names are exchanged, and introductions may be arranged with the consent of both parties. Our organization is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, thereby protecting the privacy of its singles.
Shmiras HaLashon (guarding one's words) is paramount to the success of L'Chaim. "When in doubt, leave it out." An omission can easily be corrected, but an error is difficult to amend. If you are not sure, consult your rabbi.
Information from Shidduch meetings may be shared with other Shadchanim for the purpose of furthering Shidduchim.
L'Chaim does not take responsibility for the accuracy of the information presented at meetings and passed on by the Shadchanim. It is the responsibility of the sponsors and/or singles to verify the information given.
It is a time-honored practice that the Chosson and Kallah or their families present compensation to the Shadchan/nim. L'Chaim revels in each Shidduch and appreciates being informed about each success. This offers tremendous 'chizuk' to the dedicated women involved in L'Chaim.
